README for tablebase.sesse.net

These are the standard Nalimov tablebase files. I've made them available over
HTTP for convenience, since not everybody likes to set up Yet Another Obscure
P2P Client. Don't expect this to be a long-term service, though, as soon as I
need the disk space for other stuff (disks are cheap, machines to have disks in
are not) the service will go away. Until then, enjoy the gigabit of tablebase
goodness.

Note that the download process for the 6-man tablebases is far from complete;
files are automatically added as I get them from eMule, but it will take a while,
since 200kB/sec is not lightning speeds with 1TB of data to download. If you
have the 6-man set of tablebases and some bandwidth (or ~200 DVD-Rs and a few
stamps :-) ) to spare, please contact me.

The server is currently running on privately owned hardware, with bandwidth and
hosting donated by Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem (and in turn, NTNU).
